Responsibilities

• Communicates with international students in F and J status to provide information and resources for maintaining lawful status in the US.
• Coordinates with faculty, staff, employees, and students to facilitate and maintain immigration status.
• Ensures compliance with immigration/visa rules by educating faculty and department admins.
• Acts as a resource for visa matters and resolves non-routine questions.
• Maintains relationships with government agencies and embassies to facilitate visa documentation and employment authorization.
• Maintains accurate records in University systems (e.g., PeopleSoft, Sunapsis) and SEVIS.
• Compiles information and prepares reports for government agencies; analyzes trends and makes recommendations.
• Keeps current through professional development and training.
