Job summary

Campus Apartments is seeking an enthusiastic Leasing Agent in Harrisonburg, VA. You will assist with leasing, respond to inquiries, and help maintain high occupancy while delivering excellent customer service.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will process applications, manage renewals, coordinate licenses, and help with marketing and outreach. A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, plus valid license and CPR certification, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain.
• Valid driver’s license and current automobile insurance is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Knowledge of Entrata is preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively and professionally in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with leasing to maintain full occupancy and manage renewal offers.
• Maintain accurate availability records for lease renewals.
• Review, approve, and present rental applications to the General Manager.
• Coordinate licenses and renewals with city and legal counsel.
• Assist with move-out inspections and final account statements.
• Ensure leases and resident check-ins are accurate and timely.
• Address resident concerns promptly and document communications.
• Prepare weekly property performance reports.
• Support advertising/marketing and resident retention programs.
• Maintain courteous communication with residents, applicants, employees and vendors.
• Answer phones and perform general administrative duties.
