Job summary

Sam Houston State University’s University Hotel is seeking a Student Employee – University Hotel – Service Staff Assistant to support hotel operations in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities. You will help maintain cleanliness, assist guests, and perform basic maintenance tasks as needed within a collaborative team.

No prior experience required; training will be provided. Availability on weekends, holidays, and during summer and winter breaks is required.

Qualifications

• Experience not required, will train.
• Must be available Weekends, Holidays, Summer & Winter Break.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, public areas, and laundry facilities.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, batteries, checking TV inputs/outputs, and setting clocks.
