Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and Tennessee endorsement for the grade/subject.
• Must be highly qualified.
• Must meet state and district requirements for the position.

Responsibilities

• Creates an educational environment conducive to learning and prepares instructional materials.
• Assess the accomplishments of students on an established timetable and provide progress reports to parents and staff.
• Plans interventions and prepares lessons to meet individual needs based on state and school requirements.
• Confer with parents, administrators, specialists, and staff to develop educational programs.
• Motivates students and provides ongoing assessment and feedback.
