Job summary

Frederick H. Tuttle Middle School is seeking an Interventionist to provide intensive instructional and behavioral support for designated students within diverse settings.

The role requires collaboration with teachers, specialists, and families to implement IEP-aligned programming and collect progress data. The position emphasizes data-driven planning, adherence to district policies, and the delivery of specialized services in concert with therapists and educators.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, psychology, mental health, or similar discipline preferred.
• A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or sixty (60) credits required.
• One or more years of school experience; knowledge of psychology or related disciplines preferred.
• Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI), CPR, and First Aid certifications required; training within six months expected.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct instruction or assist students in classroom settings per IEP.
• Adapt materials and methods to support student access to standards.
• Collect data on student progress and maintain records and data sheets.
