Job summary

Missouri State University is seeking a student worker in the Art & Design department to support gallery operations on the Springfield campus. This position requires Federal Work Study eligibility and pays $15 per hour, with typical hours of 8-10 per week.

Sponsorship Information

Monday-Friday 11am-6pm

Work Hours

8-10 hours per week.

Description of Primary Duties
  • Cover gallery front desk while the gallery is open; greet visitors, answer the phone, etc.
  • Assist with gallery tasks including hanging artwork, light cleaning, wall patching and painting.
  • Available to work at least 2 First Friday Art Walks (6-9pm on the first Friday of every month).
Required Qualifications

General office knowledge, writing and communication skills, telephone etiquette, and customer service skills.
