AIM - Aviation Institute of Maintenance in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ, seeks a Financial Aid & Student Accounts Specialist to support students with financial aid, tuition, and payment plans. You will ensure accuracy, compliance, and responsive service while coordinating with campus teams.

The role requires strong numerical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication to help students navigate federal aid, scholarships, and payment options. Some evenings or weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent on-the-job experience.
• Must not be in default on Federal Student Loans.
• Strong numerical, analytical, and problem-solving skills with the ability to review financial information and resolve issues.
• Strong understanding of financial aid and student account processes and applicable regulations.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide students through financial aid and funding processes and explain requirements and responsibilities.
• Review and process financial aid documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Monitor student accounts for incomplete requirements, funding gaps and balances.
• Establish payment arrangements and assist students in meeting financial obligations.
• Maintain accurate student financial records and stay updated on policies and procedures.
• Prepare deposits and coordinate with accounting.
