Job summary

Acron Aviation is seeking a Student Finance Associate for our Sanford, FL office to support lender processes and student financing. You will prepare cost estimates, maintain materials for orientation, and coordinate with Jacksonville operations to ensure timely, accurate student financial information throughout training.

The role emphasizes clear communication, documentation, and cross-functional collaboration with academic advising, accounting, and admissions to improve the student experience.

Qualifications

• Requires a 2-year post-secondary/associate’s degree with 4 years of related experience or a bachelor’s degree with 2+ years.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a resource for students regarding lenders, financing options and loan applications.
• Explain lender processes, timelines, documentation, and disbursement expectations.
• Assist with communication between students, Student Financing, and lenders.
• Help students understand Academy vs lender requirements and timelines.
• Track lender-related items and assist with follow-up to prevent delays.
• Prepare and maintain Student Financing packets for new student orientation.
• Develop clear materials explaining procedures, expectations, and payments.
• Identify FAQs to address through materials and communications.
• Ensure materials are accurate and consistent with procedures.
• Prepare training cost estimates using established methodology.
• Review training data when preparing individualized estimates.
• Maintain documentation of estimates provided to students.
• Handle volume of estimate requests within turnaround expectations.
• Post Ground School and subscription-package charges accordingly.
• Provide administrative support for Jacksonville operations.
• Assist with student account questions and lender matters from Jacksonville.
• Coordinate with campus teams for information needed to resolve matters.
• Maintain organized documentation per procedures.
• Escalate complex matters to leadership when needed.
• Support projects, audits, and cross-functional reviews.
