Job summary

New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association is seeking a leader to oversee a team of Student Accounts Advisors in a student-centered environment dedicated to exceptional customer service and ongoing staff development.

You will design and implement a comprehensive Accounts Receivable strategy, ensuring standardized processes across the staff, and manage the collection of tuition and fees for all programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Student Accounts Advisors in a student-centered environment with exceptional customer service and ongoing training and sta development
• Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive Accounts Receivable strategy, including standardized processes to be executed consistently by all Student Accounts staff
• Manage the assessment and collection of tuition and fee revenue for all programs
• Manage 3rd-party vendor relationships and collection agency partnerships
• Oversee mailing of delinquent statement mailings and regularly review receivables status to optimize collections
• Coordinate Form 1098-T data preparation annually per IRS guidelines
• Create and maintain tuition/fee rate tables to ensure accurate billing
• Provide quarterly KPI data to organizational leaders
• Maintain and update AR policies and represent student accounts in meetings and institutional events
• Oversee the Student Accounts email inbox and VA/TAP reporting responsibilities
• Reconcile student accounts with the general ledger
• Other responsibilities as assigned
