City University of New York is seeking an Enrollment Bursar Coordinator at Lehman College. The role counsels students on meeting financial obligations and resolves account issues, while serving as cashier or head of cashier and supporting reconciliation of daily tuition and payments.

Responsibilities include advising on payment options, processing refunds, posting entries for waivers and charges, supporting collections, and ensuring secure handling of funds. Evening hours may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.

Responsabilités

• Counsels students on meeting college financial obligations and payment options.
• Serve as cashier and/or head of cashier.
• Assist with reconciliation of daily tuition and fees and department payments.
• Assist with third-party billings.
• Advise students on payment options for tuition and fees.
• Process and review student refunds.
• Post entries for waivers, payments and charges from special programs.
• Work on collections to maximize revenue for the college.
• Troubleshoot year-end student 1098-T inquiries.
• Run and review student financial queries and reports.
• Collaborate with accounting to process ACH and wire payments.
• Ensure security of University funds per Cash Accountability Policy.
• Update and maintain the Bursar’s Office website and directory information.
• Evening hours may be required.
