Job summary

The University of Florida is seeking a Student Financial Aid Coordinator II to manage the Return of Title IV funds and oversee recalculations in accordance with federal, state, and institutional regulations. This role collaborates with campus partners to ensure accurate financial aid administration and compliance.

Key responsibilities include administration of Title IV processes, policy interpretation, audits support, and participation in professional development.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in an appropriate area; or a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate area and two years of relevant experience.
• 2+ years of relevant experience preferred for Bachelor’s degree route.
• Strong knowledge of financial aid rules and regulations.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate withdrawal and financial aid recalculations.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and institutional regulations.
• Collaborate with campus partners to support accurate financial aid administration.
• Coordinate and manage the Return of Title IV process.
• Monitor withdrawals and enrollment changes to recalculate aid eligibility.
• Review student records to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support audits and maintain documentation for compliance.
• Lead or assist with special projects and process improvements.
• Represent the university at financial aid presentations, workshops, and conferences as needed.
