Job summary

Stanbridge University is seeking a Financial Aid Associate to provide administrative and student-service support within the Financial Aid Department on campus in California. You will handle high volumes of calls, emails, and service requests, assist students with FAFSA completion, and route complex matters to Financial Aid Officers.

Ideal candidates have strong customer service skills, careful attention to detail, and the ability to explain financial aid policies clearly to diverse student

Qualifications

• Minimum: high school diploma or equivalent and experience in customer service/administrative support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with diverse populations.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and ability to learn student information systems.
• Ability to handle high volume of inquiries and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for prospective and current students, families, and other stakeholders seeking financial aid assistance.
• Assist students with FAFSA completion and required documentation; troubleshoot FAFSA issues.
• Route complex matters to the appropriate Financial Aid Officer; coordinate scheduling and follow-up.
