Job summary

Keiser University is seeking a Financial Aid Officer to guide students through the financial aid process and ensure proper funding for each semester. You will assist FAFSA completion, determine Title IV eligibility, and explain funding options to students and parents.

You will also collect documentation for verification, review weekly processing reports, and submit aid packages by deadlines while maintaining high accuracy and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree is required.
• 2-4 years of business experience.
• Knowledge of Federal and State funding programs helpful.
• Knowledge of Title IV regulations helpful.
• Knowledge of Webclient software helpful.
• Financial Aid Experience helpful.
• Ability to work assigned/flexible hours necessary to complete the job on a weekly basis.

Responsibilities

• Assist the student with filling out the FAFSA.
• Determine the student's title IV eligibility.
• Create cost estimates and explain funding options to students and parents.
• Work with students to obtain documentation for verification.
• Review weekly reports to ensure all students' financial aid has been processed.
• Submit financial aid packages to be processed by deadlines.
• Ensure a low rate of return due to errors on all packages submitted.
• Provide excellent customer service and answers to student inquiries.
