Job summary

The University of North Texas at Dallas invites applications for the position of Student Services Associate in the Office of Student Financial Aid and Scholarships. This role provides immediate, comprehensive services to customers regarding federal, state, and institutional aid requirements, including awarding and calculating need, and maintaining student records.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm, with occasional evenings and weekends for programming; candidates should demonstrate

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and one year of related experience.
• Strong knowledge of FERPA and university policies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Assess and adjust Cost of Attendance budgets per guidelines.
• Evaluate verification data elements for aid eligibility impact.
• Determine academic program eligibility for aid participation.
• Manage loan processes including counseling and exit processes, and scholarship processing.
• Assist with planning and participating in financial aid outreach events.
• Respond to inquiries about federal, state, and institutional aid regulations.
