UNT Health Fort Worth is seeking a Student Finance Service Specialist to accurately process student finance transactions and daily cash receipts. The role collaborates with other departments, guides student and department accounts, and delivers exceptional customer service to students and parents.

The position requires a Bachelor's degree with 2 years in accounting or cashier services, preferably in higher education, and a Monday–Friday, 8:00AM–5:00PM schedule in Fort Worth.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's degree and two years of experience in accounting, billing/receivable, cashier services or related field.
• Or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

Responsabilidades

• Provides quality customer service and ensures compliance with federal, state and university regulations related to student accounts.
• Posts miscellaneous fees to student accounts.
• Reviews accounts and performs mathematical computations and processes adjustments.
• Delivers exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, including state agencies and financial institutions.
• Receives and posts daily cash receipts and payments; verifies and posts to chart strings; prepares cash receipts for bank deposits; runs financial cash reports and balances the cash drawer; investigates and resolves out-of-balance issues.
• Creates electronic files for department use to increase efficiency and investigates new ways of completing work effectively.
• Responds to in-person, telephone and email inquiries from agencies, students, parents, faculty and staff.
• Manages department group email box and Online appointments.
