Job summary

City University of New York (Lehman College) seeks an Enrollment Bursar Coordinator to counsel students on meeting financial obligations and to manage cashiering duties. You will assist with reconciliation of tuition, payments, refunds, and third-party billings while ensuring secure handling of funds.

Reporting to the Enrollment Bursar Director, you may work evenings and collaborate with the accounting office on ACH and wire payments, helping maintain accurate student accounts and waivers in the

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• Counsels students on financial obligations and payment options.
• Maintains revenue files and prepares reports.

Responsibilities

• Serve as cashier and/or head of cashier.
• Assist with reconciliation of daily tuition and fees and various departmental payments.
• Assist with third-party billings.
• Advise students on all options for payment of tuition and fees.
• Assist with processing and reviewing student refunds.
• Assist with posting entries for waivers, payments and charges.
• Work on collections to maximize revenue for the college.
• Support year-end 1098-T inquiries.
• Run and review student financial queries and reports.
• Work with accounting to process ACH and wire payments.
• Ensure security of University funds per Cash Accountability Policy.
• Help update the Bursar’s Office website and directory information.
• Evening hours are sometimes required.
