Job summary

Marymount University seeks a Student Financial Planner in Student Financial Services. Reporting to the Director of Student Financial Services and Bursar, the Student Financial Planner will serve as the primary point of contact for all tuition and student financial questions.

The right candidate will provide excellent customer service and support, and offer student financial guidance to ensure students are on the path to a successful experience at Marymount.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in higher education administration.
• 2–3 years of relevant professional experience in an applicable role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Maintain thorough understanding of Marymount's payment options, procedures, and systems to provide students with effective financial guidance.
• Provide responses to inquiries regarding payment options, financial aid awards, and other payment options.
• Create financial enrollment plans based on awarded/available financial aid and other sources of payment.
• Interact with students and families in-person, by phone, and virtually for comprehensive counseling on payment options and affordability.
• Maintain knowledge of policies, Title IV regulations, and Marymount scholarships.
