The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located near Chicago. This Financial Aid Assistant role focuses on assessing student need and providing outstanding service to students, parents and the College community.

You will advise on federal/state aid, guide FAFSA processes, and support enrollment-related inquiries. Hybrid remote eligible with a schedule that supports busy campus operations.

Formación

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Assess student need and provide outstanding customer service to students, parents and the College community.
• Evaluate and respond to the level of student need and disseminate financial aid information regarding applications, processes, and resources.
• Advise and counsel students, parents and the public on financial aid issues at front counter and by phone.
• Assist students with completing the online FAFSA, entrance loan counseling and master promissory note.
• Serve as first point of contact at the front counter and communicate documents required for verification.
• Identify and analyze problems relating to financial aid and work toward solution and student service.
• Understand professional judgment with Federal Policies in determining student eligibility.
• Participate in FAFSA nights and other financial aid outreach events on campus.
• Assist with admission processes, myACCESS, payment arrangements and registration questions.
• Assist students with navigation of the College and Department of Education websites.
