Job summary

CSU Stanislaus is seeking multiple temporary student assistants for Capital Planning and Design under the Federal Work Study program. Positions run from October 1, 2026, to May 21, 2027, with potential reappointment based on budget and performance.

Duties include clerical tasks, data entry, ordering, and field verifications on campus. Responsibilities cover creating work orders in MetaBIM, inventory tasks, and providing frontline customer service to campus visitors and vendors.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate students must be enrolled in a minimum of six Fall/Spring units.
• Post-baccalaureate students in a graduate program must be enrolled in a minimum of four Fall/Spring units.
• Must have received and accepted Financial Aid award for the current semester/year.

Responsibilities

• General clerical duties: data entry, filing, copies, and phone routing.
• Greet visitors, communicate via two-way radio with department crews, mail runs, and stock office supplies.
• Create/close work orders using MetaBIM; assist with research and analysis of work order issues in MetaBIM.
• Assist with department inventory, data gathering, reconciliations, reporting, and warehouse organization.
• Create, update, and maintain building plans files in electronic and paper formats.
• Conduct field surveys and verifications of campus spaces with photos and measurements.
• Provide customer service support and follow up with vendors regarding warranties and samples.
