Job summary

Houston Community College is seeking an Enrollment Services Associate to coordinate enrollment activities across multiple sites, covering admissions, testing referrals, transcripts, and FERPA compliance. The role collaborates with College Officials to align with strategic goals and ensure accurate state reporting.

The candidate will advise students through the enrollment process, participate in recruitment events, and help implement internal controls and training programs across Enrollment

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 2 years’ work experience in Enrollment Services or Student Services preferred.
• Valid Texas Driver License.

Responsibilities

• Advise students on the enrollment process (admissions, assessment, financial aid, advisement registration, orientation).
• Represent the College at community recruitment and retention events.
• Coordinate data reconciliation for state and federal reporting to ensure compliance.
• Implement departmental goals based on the College Strategic Plan.
• Develop and implement internal controls in Enrollment Services.
• Provide admissions testing referrals for pre- and post-test assessments.
• Maintain transcript security procedures and issue official transcripts.
• Monitor Never Attended reports for accurate financial aid reporting.
• Research, recommend and process refund petitions.
• Coordinate staff trainings and assist with interviewing, hiring, and training.
