Job summary

Houston Community College is seeking a Student Recruiter to develop and implement recruitment and outreach programs aimed at meeting enrollment goals in targeted geographic areas and specific student populations.

You will maintain relationships with ISDs and counselors, onboard students, and manage communications with prospective students and parents. The role involves leading information sessions and coordinating events to grow the student pipeline.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3 years directly related experience preferred.
• Higher Education work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruit students in compliance with policy and target high school juniors/seniors for dual credit.
• Maintain relationships with ISDs and counselors; onboard students.
• Respond to needs of prospective students, applicants, and parents via various channels.
• Develop recruitment plans to fill pipelines and increase conversions.
• Collaborate with departments to assist students through enrollment steps.
• Provide information on programs including academic, workforce, and non-credit.
• Lead information sessions on admission requirements, both virtual and in-person.
• Coordinate recruitment events and outreach with districts and community partners.
• Maintain CRM logs of touchpoints and engagement.
• Prepare recruitment reports from CRM; coordinate college fairs.
