Job summary

Georgetown University is seeking a Program Coordinator to advise students and organizations within the Center for Student Engagement, developing leadership training and campus-life programming. The role includes supporting the Advisory Board for Club Sports and GOLD programs, and delivering diverse training initiatives with high collaboration across university groups.

The position reports to the Associate Director of Student Engagement, supervising three Graduate Assistants.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 1–3 years of experience in student activities or student affairs.
• Excellent organizational and communication/writing skills.
• Ability to prioritize work with strong attention to detail.
• Demonstrated flexibility in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with Google and Microsoft Office suites, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent interpersonal and professional communication skills.
• Ability to provide light to moderate on-site support for student programs.

Responsibilities

• Advise students and student organizations in programming, leadership development, and training initiatives.
• Design and deliver departmental leadership programs and training (travel, hazing education, etc.).
• Support the Advisory Board for Club Sports and GOLD programs; coordinate with related student organizations.
• Lead and supervise three Graduate Assistants and collaborate with the Associate Director of Student Engagement.
