Job summary

UC San Diego is seeking a Program Coordinator to oversee student engagement initiatives, including the Student First Stop and Mentor Collective. You will supervise student ambassadors, manage the Mentor Collective platform, and drive program development, partnerships, and assessments to expand access to resources and improve student success.

The role is in-person, Monday through Friday, with a 100% appointment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related area or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of student development theories and practices as they relate to academic success, personal growth, career development, mentoring, coaching, and student support.
• Ability to analyze complex student needs and propose solutions.
• Experience coordinating student engagement programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee student support and peer engagement initiatives.
• Manage Mentor Collective platform and vendor relationships.
• Coordinate training, recruitment, and campus partnerships.
• Develop assessment and continuous program improvement.
