Job summary

Western University of Health Sciences in Pomona, CA seeks a full-time Student Life & Student Leadership Coordinator to assist student clubs and the SGA with co-curricular programs and services. You will manage club/class funds, ensure accurate accounting, and handle SSL communications and marketing.

The role reports to the Director of Student Life & Student Leadership and requires strong communication, budgeting, and planning skills in a university setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; AA/AS degree with 5+ years in Student Affairs may be considered.
• Three-five years of higher education experience.
• Proficient with Microsoft Suite, Qualtrics, WordPress; Banner experience strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Review and verify student reimbursement requests and coordinate with Finance and AP for approvals.
• Support student leaders by providing fund balances and policy guidance on reimbursements.
• Train club leaders on financial management of university funds and processes.
• Review merchandise and flyers for branding and trademark compliance.
• Manage housing and roommate databases and respond to inquiries via SLL channels.
• Assist in planning and executing SLL events, Welcome Week, Orientation, and Commencement.
• Greet visitors, answer calls/emails within 2 business days, and provide departmental support.
• Support communications/marketing by drafting campus messages and maintaining websites.
