Job summary

Quinnipiac University invites applications for an Associate Director of Student Engagement to lead leadership development, supervise student organizations, and guide orientation programs. You will advise student leaders, oversee engagements across campus, and partner with university colleagues to foster belonging and student success.

This role requires 5–7 years in student affairs, a Master's degree, and a proven track record of inclusive leadership, collaboration, and program management.

Qualifications

  • 5-7 years of professional experience in Student Affairs in higher education.
  • Ability to understand and articulate inclusive excellence, justice, and diversity.
  • Strong leadership, program planning, and organizational skills.
  • Commitment to engaging students through intentional programs and high personal contact.

Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision, evaluation, and coaching to staff and graduate assistants within the Office of Student Engagement.
  • Advises branches of the Student Government Association and supports student media organizations.
  • Oversees recruitment, training, and supervision of Orientation Leaders and related programs.
  • Coordinates marketing and communications efforts for Student Engagement initiatives and events.
  • Develops annual involvement opportunities and collaborates with campus partners on cultural, service, and media organizations.
  • Performs other duties as assigned and supports university-wide strategic initiatives.
