Job summary

Louisiana State University (LSU) is seeking a Student Employment and Training Coordinator to oversee the full student employment lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, training, performance tracking, and termination. The role reports to the Assistant Director of Student Employment and Training and works within the Student Recreation Complex.

• Experience with Microsoft Office suite is expected.
• Desirable: HR systems familiarity and university environment experience.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, hiring, and processing of 150+ student applications monthly.
• Oversee onboarding, eligibility verification, and new hire documentation.
• Develop and deliver training programs to improve job readiness and professional development.
• Maintain data accuracy across multiple databases and software systems.
• Support divisional initiatives and special projects as needed.
