Job summary

Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas is seeking a Student Employee for Student Account Services. The role supports Bearkat OneCard services, cashier’s office tasks, and campus events with a part-time schedule (10-28 hours per week) and a hiring rate of $9–$10 per hour.

• Intermediate experience with the full Microsoft Office product suite; particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming atmosphere for faculty, staff, students, parents, and fellow coworkers.
• Take ID card photos and print temporary ID cards.
• Work closely with walk-ins and call-ins to troubleshoot account/card issues.
• Represent Student Account Services - Bearkat OneCard Services at events on campus.
• Complete daily office projects.
• Assist with phone calls and email for Student Account Services (Bearkat OneCard & Cashier’s Office).
• Assist with other duties within the office as assigned.
