Job summary

OpenAI seeks a high-agency program operator to scale its student community efforts across the Americas. You will own systems and rhythms, coordinate across North America and LATAM, and resolve gaps as the program grows. Build structure from ambiguity, manage complex details, and move between operations, regional coordination, and direct student support.

You may create trackers, write weekly updates, chase missing info, and collaborate with internal and external partners to keep work on track.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of program management or related roles.
• Strong systems thinker with hands-on Airtable/CRM experience.
• Excellent execution in ambiguous, fast-moving environments.
• Ability to manage multiple workstreams across people, timelines, tools.
• Strong written communication for updates, recaps, documentation, reporting.
• Comfort working with internal teams, agencies, contractors, regional partners.
• High ownership, low ego, willingness to tackle messy problems.
• Strong interest in AI and how students use it to learn and create.
• Familiarity with Slack, Google Workspace, Airtable, Luma, and community tools.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day program operations across recruitment, onboarding, student support, activations, and end-of-cycle programming.
• Build and maintain Airtable and other source-of-truth systems for recruitment, onboarding, events, reporting, and feedback.
• Own dashboards and weekly reporting showing progress, risks, blockers, decisions, and next steps.
• Coordinate across Experience, Localization, Editorial, Strategy & Ops, agency partners, and cross-functional teams.
• Build operating rhythms, templates, checklists, and documentation to scale the program.
• Partner with community managers to capture student needs, feedback, and trends.
• Surface ownership gaps and drive next steps through completion.
