Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a proactive program manager to run Student Collective’s daily operations, manage communications, records and logistics while identifying opportunities to improve tools and workflows as the team grows.

You’ll own day-to-day workflows, escalate risks early, and implement agreed changes with sound judgment across time zones and partners. This role emphasizes collaboration, data accuracy and process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and reliable follow-through.
• Hands-on comfort using AI tools to build and improve workflows.
• Familiarity with procurement workflows, supplier coordination and payment tracking.
• Clear, proactive communication with students and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to identify process gaps and implement improvements.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines independently.

Responsibilities

• Own program tools, tracking data, and improve workflows.
• Manage onboarding, access, and follow-up.
• Coordinate student communications and check-ins.
• Schedule interviews and meetings across time zones.
• Handle procurement and payments processes.
• Support student projects and events.
• Coordinate Product Lab logistics.
• Improve team communications and reporting.
