Job summary

POWER CENTER ACADEMY HIGH SCHOOL seeks a Graduation Coach to support high school scholars in navigating graduation and postsecondary readiness. You will work with scholars, families, teachers, counselors, and community partners to identify students at risk and provide targeted supports to keep them engaged and on track for graduation.

The role involves using data to identify barriers, developing and monitoring individualized plans, coordinating interventions, and connecting families with school

Qualifications

• Experience supporting high school students at risk of not graduating.
• Ability to develop and monitor Engagement and Career Plans.
• Ability to identify barriers to graduation using student data.

Responsibilities

• Identify scholars at risk of not graduating using academic, behavioral, and other data.
• Counsel and support identified scholars with strategies to stay engaged in learning.
• Develop and implement individualized Engagement and Career Plans for scholars at risk.
• Review and monitor Engagement and Career Plans each semester and coordinate additional support when goals aren’t met.
• Identify barriers to graduation and collaborate with families and staff to overcome them.
• Facilitate career exploration and planning activities for graduation readiness.
• Coordinate interventions and termly adjustments based on scholar needs and outcomes.
• Collaborate with teachers and administrators to adapt curriculum and instruction for at-risk scholars.
