Job summary

Socket.dev is seeking a dedicated Career Transition Specialist to guide students and graduates through employment, education, and training options. You will build partnerships with employers and community organizations, coordinate job-readiness support, and monitor placement outcomes to promote successful placement and retention.

You will conduct resume development, interview preparation, and mock interviews, manage a caseload, and connect students with transportation, relocation, or childcare

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Human Services, Psychology, Counseling, Education, Business Administration, Communications, or a closely related field.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive career transition services to students and graduates, including employment, postsecondary education, training, and other placement options.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with employers and community organizations to expand placement opportunities for students.
• Identify opportunities aligned with students' training and goals and assist them throughout the placement process.
• Provide job-readiness assistance including resume development, job search strategies, and interview preparation.
