Job summary

Chugach Government Solutions is seeking a dedicated placement and transition counselor to assist Job Corps graduates and students. You will build employer partnerships and guide students through job search, resume writing, and interviewing techniques.

Responsibilities include coordinating outreach with community partners, tracking progress, and ensuring compliant placement services while maintaining confidential records and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or an Associate’s with 2 years’ related experience in human services or closely related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook at an intermediate level.

Responsibilities

• Coach students in job search, resume writing, and interviewing skills.
• Contact and support students before and after separation to provide placement and transition assistance.
• Develop and maintain partnerships with employers to place graduates in jobs with career potential.
