Job summary

Adams and Associates, Inc. in Keystone - Drums, PA seeks a counselor to support students in the Job Corps program. You will provide personal and career counseling to boost employability and enrollment, while ensuring data confidentiality and program integrity.

You will develop individualized plans, coordinate services on- and off-center, and mentor students to achieve progression and completion of the program.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree, including at least 15 semester hours in Social Services-related instruction.
• Minimum of one year experience in counseling or related field.
• Experience with Job Corps or related program preferred.
• Must possess a valid in-State Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Provides personal and career counseling to enhance student employability.
• Develops individualized student career educational plans.
• Coordinates services for students (on-Center and off-Center) to ensure retention and success.
• Routinely documents student progress using the case management system and maintains confidentiality.
• Mentors and supports students to meet program goals and complete the Job Corps program.
• Exchanges information clearly with students and staff to ensure understanding and progress.
