Job summary

Michigan State University College of Engineering is seeking a Case Manager for Care and Intervention to support, plan, and manage cases of students who are of concern, promoting health and safety across the campus. The role provides guidance to university officials and students, coordinates intake to closure, and serves on the Care and Intervention Team, with hybrid on-campus and remote work.

Qualifications

• Five to eight years of related and progressively responsible experience in developing and implementing programs, policies and procedures and supervising staff.
• Masters level or higher in Student Affairs, Social Work, Psychology or Counselor Education preferred.
• Experience deploying case management processes and coordinating across multiple offices.

Responsibilities

• Provide outreach to students and employees referred to the Care and Intervention Team.
• Develop and evaluate programs and workshops for students and employees.
• Connect individuals with on- and off-campus resources.
• Document case notes and track cases in the electronic system.
• Participate in Care and Intervention Team meetings and referrals.
