Job summary

Texas State Technical College (TSTC) seeks a Case Manager for the CARE Team to assess student needs, triage complex situations, and coordinate timely referrals to campus and community resources to support wellbeing, safety, and academic success.

This role collaborates with faculty, staff, and external partners to remove barriers and promote persistence, with a focus on professional judgment, confidentiality, and timely intervention.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Two years of experience in student services or related field.
• Experience with case management, intake, referrals, and follow-up.

Responsibilities

• Conducts comprehensive intake and needs assessments for students.
• Coordinates referrals to campus departments, community organizations, and specialized services.
• Maintains ongoing outreach and engagement with students to assess progress and support recommended resources.
• Coordinates welfare checks, risk assessments, and other intervention activities when warranted.
• Maintains accurate records and documentation for assigned cases and communications.
• Participates in CARE Team meetings and provides updates and status reports.
