Job summary

The University of Kentucky is seeking a Major Campus Programming Student Event Manager in Lexington, KY. Working under the guidance of the Major Campus Programming Coordinator, Senior Specialist, and/or Associate Director, you will help execute semesterly campus events hosted by the Office of Student Organizations & Activities.

Events include SOA Cinema Series, Bingo, Trivia, Game Watches, tabling events, and other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled at UK as an undergraduate student.
• Involvement in UK campus organizations (Registered Student Organization, Student Sponsored Organization, Club Sports, etc.), event management and execution, hospitality.
• Strong customer service and hospitality, engaging with guests at events, strong communication and logistical skills, effective time management.

Responsibilities

• Assist in executing semesterly Major Campus Programming events.
• Set-up, check-in of attendees, and event clean-up; minimum shifts per semester.
• Engage with guests, discuss involvement opportunities with students and other duties as assigned.
