Job summary

The University of Denver in Denver, CO seeks an Advisor in Student Financial Services to deliver expert guidance on tuition statements, aid disbursements, and payment plans. You will help students and families craft affordable financial plans and assist with policy development.

The role requires knowledge of Title IV/Perkins loan regulations, confidentiality, and strong communication skills. Partial remote work is possible; Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Word) and data handling.
• Knowledge of student financial processes, guidelines, and procedures.
• Ability to communicate clearly with students and families about billing, aid, and payments.
• Experience in conflict resolution and handling sensitive financial information.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional advising on tuition, disbursements, and payment plans to students and families.
• Explain financial aid options, eligibility, and impact of outside resources.
• Assist in policy development and updating of office procedures.
• Support front desk operations and handle document management as needed.
