Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a Behavior Aide to support small groups of students in in-district classrooms and standalone settings.

You will monitor behavior, reinforce learning, and collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services using SESI’s PBIS CASE framework. Qualifications include a high school diploma (bachelor’s preferred) and experience with students with special needs.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma; higher education preferred.
• Prior experience with students with special needs preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varied backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction using SESI rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher in providing customized behavior and academic support.
• Reinforce learning with tasks, using data to tailor materials.
• Assist with large group activities, grading and accommodations.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques.
• Support daily plans and track student growth and progress.
• Supervise students and coordinate with staff.
