Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking a dedicated behavior aide to support K-12 students needing additional behavioral and academic supports. The role focuses on assisting teachers, delivering small-group instruction, and applying SESI’s CASE PBIS framework to help students succeed.

You will implement de-escalation techniques, track growth, and adapt plans to meet individual needs in a supportive classroom setting within our network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; college experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI's rotation model.
• Assist the teacher with behavior and academic support and assessments.
• Utilize behavior support and de-escalation techniques to maintain safety.
• Support daily plans and track student growth toward goals.
• Supervise students and coordinate with other staff as needed.
