Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. is seeking an Attendance Coordinator to support students in special and alternative education settings.

You will collaborate with teachers to deliver individualized services, monitor attendance and behavior, communicate with parents, and reinforce learning through SESI’s proven model. Responsibilities include managing supplies, maintaining records, ensuring policy compliance, and performing receptionist duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to operate office equipment including phones, printers, faxes, and computers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working in a school setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand SESI philosophy, policy and procedures for student and parent interactions.
• Order and maintain supplies within budget and verify charges.
• Operate office equipment and computer systems as part of daily tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality of personnel, student, and SESI information.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal record-keeping requirements.
• Distribute mail and handle confidential information with discretion.
• Perform receptionist duties and greet visitors professionally.
• Monitor COVID-19 regulations and training completion.
• Enter enrollment, attendance, behavior data, and test scores as needed.
• Uphold SESI work rules and professional conduct.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
