Job summary

Specialized Education Services, Inc. (SESI) is seeking an assistant teacher to support small groups of students in in-district classrooms and standalone schools.

You will work under a teacher to deliver individualized services and track progress, reinforcing learning and skills within SESI’s PBIS framework. Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• College experience or bachelor’s degree highly preferred.
• Experience working with students with special needs in an educational setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work with a diverse group of students from varying backgrounds.
• Lead small group instruction and implement SESI’s academic rotational model.
• Partner with the teacher to provide customized behavior and academic support.
• Assist with assessments and monitor student progress.
• Support and document student growth toward academic, social, and emotional goals.
• Supervise students and coordinate with other staff to address needs.
