GW Campus Recreation is seeking Personal Trainers to develop fitness programs for campus events and provide personal training services to the university community.
Responsibilities include client orientation, goal evaluations, safe exercise program design, record-keeping, and ongoing professional development within the department.

The Department of Campus Recreation aims to provide fun, inclusive, and engaging recreational programming and facilities for the university’s diverse community in the areas of intramural and sport clubs, fitness and wellness instruction and informal recreational opportunities.
Position Specific Summary
Personal Trainers for the Campus Recreation Department will develop fitness programs to meet client goals, create exercise programs, attend all required training and meetings. Special projects or other duties may be assigned related to specific departmental needs.

Personal Trainers should be motivated, coachable, enthusiastic, dependable team players who have the primary responsibility of assisting clients with meeting their movement needs. The ideal candidate possesses a strong background and interest in Exercise Science with one or more certifications.
