The Academic Support Program for Student-Athletes at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is seeking an Academic Counselor to support football student-athletes with academic coaching, course planning and NCAA eligibility guidance. You will coordinate the Campus Life Experience (CLE), monitor progress, and prepare semester reports, ensuring timely completion and compliance with university policies.

Strong communication and collaboration with faculty and coaches are essential.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of best practices in undergraduate student retention.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Nightly and weekend work required, all year round.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the Campus Life Experience (CLE) student requirement for the department.
• Monitor academic progress and prepare semester academic/eligibility reports.
• Provide academic coaching in study skills, time management, and course scheduling aligned with NCAA eligibility.

Education

Master's degree and 2+ years experience with student-athletes
