Qualifications

• A master’s degree, or a bachelor’s degree and three or more years of relevant experience is required.
• The candidate will possess a passion for the holistic development of student-athletes.
• The candidate must be detail-oriented, have excellent communication skills, and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide intense monitoring and academic support for student‑athletes.
• Assist with student‑athlete specific course registration.
• Assist in the academic coaching of student‑athletes for designated assigned sport programs.
• Develop and oversee programming/initiatives/events.
• Participate in recruiting visits with prospective student‑athletes.
• Assist the Assistant AD for Student‑Athlete Support Services with coordination of Student Development and Spartan Shield Program.
• Serve as the SAAC Advisor.
• Interpret, analyze, and monitor academic progress and NCAA eligibility.
• Maintain knowledge of NCAA and University rules concerning academic standing and eligibility.
