Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Enrolled student at MGA for at least 6 credit hours with some or all classes on the Macon campus.
• Must be able to work a set schedule Monday – Friday.
• Knowledge of computer programs such as Microsoft Office including Word and Excel, social media platforms, Canva, etc.
• Skills: critical and creative thinking, oral and written communication, and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Helps with daily operations of running the office (answering phones, making copies, distributing mail, assisting walk-ins, etc.).
• Communicates professionally on the phone and in-person to resolve or escalates inquiries.
• Answers general questions about department, or directs inquiries to appropriate person.
• Assists the staff and department chair with other duties as assigned; may take on a special project based on student skills and interests to include but is not limited to social media, the Mac and/or Art Lab, course assistance (i.e., assisting with set-up for film/digital lab courses), digital media management and/or creation, and student outreach.
