Middle Georgia State University is seeking a part-time Student Assistant Tutor in the Dept. of Media, Culture, and the Arts.

The role supports language learning for fellow students, using TEAMS or on-site sessions on the Macon campus to help improve study practices and grades in lower to mid-level language courses. The student will set a consistent tutoring schedule within the hours provided, with a maximum of 19 hours per week, and must be a current MGA student with a minimum GPA of 2.5.

Qualifications

• Minimum GPA of 2.5 is required.
• Current enrolled student at MGA for at least 6 credit hours.

Responsibilities

• Maintain consistent tutoring schedule (in-person on Macon campus or via TEAMS).
• Keep tutoring area clean and organized.
• Manage academic workload alongside job responsibilities.
• Be dependable and prompt for sessions.
• Adhere to FERPA confidentiality and privacy rules.
• Be cordial to students, staff, faculty and visitors.
