Job Description and Duties

Positions exist in Computer Services at Porterville Developmental Center. The incumbent assists the Information Technology Specialists with help desk duties, hardware/software installation and removal, repair of computer systems, and troubleshooting network infrastructure including switches, routers, firewalls, WiFi, and other networked systems.

Individuals who are, or have been, a dependent child in foster care, homeless youth, a formerly incarcerated youth, or a victim of human trafficking as defined by Government Code section 18220 are encouraged to apply and will be given priority. Please note your eligibility on your application and be prepared to furnish documentation prior to appointment.

This position is in person only, not eligible for telework.
