The Analyst II is responsible for fulfilling a variety of analytical assignments and providing technical support relative to numerous federally funded programs that impact individuals with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include:
Effective July 1, 2025, State employees are subject to a salary reduction of 3% in exchange for five hours per month of Personal Leave.
Work is performed in an open‑spaced partitioned office environment. The position requires sitting for extended periods of time while using a computer or reviewing documents. Minimal statewide travel may be required. Under Government Code 14200, this is a hybrid telework position; telework agreements may be modified or cancelled. The incumbent must be able to report to the office or any designated location as needed.
Candidates must be residents of California, have lawful authorization to work in the U.S., and the Department does not sponsor visas.
The California Department of Developmental Services provides services and supports to individuals with developmental disabilities such as intellectual disability, cerebral palsy, epilepsy, autism, and related conditions through state‑operated developmental centers and community facilities, and contracts with 21 nonprofit regional centers.
The Statement of Qualifications (SOQ) must be numbered in the same order as the following areas, typed in 12‑point Arial font, single spaced, and no longer than two pages. Applicants who fail to answer the questions or submit an SOQ may not be considered.
