The Cybersecurity Assistant supports the development of cybersecurity strategies and policies. This role involves the application of learnings from an advanced degree in information security, computer science, data science, applied mathematics or related studies to:assist in collecting and analyzing data from security assessments, incident response, and other open and closed sources; research, aggregate, summarize, and report on the information and associated insights;maintain documentation; andexperiment with process automation. The Cybersecurity Assistant is expected to apply critical thinking, analytical, and communication skills in the delivery of work products to the ADCISO that contributes to the enhancement of the Agency's overall security posture.

Telework:
This position is currently eligible for telework fivedays per week and is required to report in-person a minimum of one dayper month. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the OTSI and is subject to operational needs.
Reporting Location:
Business travel may be required. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
