The role emphasizes collaboration with administration and teachers to monitor student growth and maintain records; prior SAT experience is preferred, with WV teaching certification required.

Qualifications

• WV Teacher Certification or Licensure required.
• Experience facilitating SAT/MTSS meetings or similar team meetings.
• Ability to analyze student data and support interventions.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate and organize SAT meetings with at risk students, parents, and school personnel.
• Guide SAT meetings, review data, identify interventions, and review referrals before evaluations.
• Support principals and teachers in delivering instructional and behavioral interventions using data to differentiate.
• Assist SAT members, principals, and parents in understanding data used for referrals.
• Schedule SAT meetings and notify members and parents.
• Maintain official SAT meeting records and outcomes.
• Assist teachers with SAT meeting preparation and outcomes.
• Coordinate with outside agencies as needed.
• Facilitate team interaction and summarize discussions/decisions.
• Maintain a SAT log for all meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
